St Jean Cap Ferrat
Posted on July 13, 2012 by @admin
Don't forget to bring your yacht
How to get there from CHUCS HQ St Jean Cap Ferrat is only half an hour from Nice, on the way to Monaco. The easy way to remember is that when you come out of Nice Côte d'Azur airport, turn left for Cannes (and our favourite Hotel du Cap) and right for St Jean Cap Ferrat.
You can make the transfer by boat if you have the time - or helicopter (we leave that to those going to Monaco) - but we like the car journey, and while it might sometimes be quicker to go over rather than around (ask your driver) we like to hug the coast.
On the other hand, if you're already cruising the Côte, drop anchor in the Anse de la Scaletta - a lovely little bay with the equally lovely Paloma Beach restaurant for diversion.
Suggested CHUCS item The boys here like their trunks a little longer so Board Shorts or Positano Longs probably and a Polo to complete the look. Maybe bring one of our Safari shirts just in case the sun goes behind a cloud - and if you're visiting at either end of the season, pack a Zissou hat to keep you cosy at the end of the day.
ideal for the Côte d'Azur - a Positano Long
CHUCS rating St Jean Cap Ferrat is home to one of the most expensive streets in the world and we regard it as one of the most perfect places to live the CHUCS life - much like our kit, it is both relaxed and stylish.
How to get your CHUCS fix For those on the move, the proximity of Nice international airport means a visit to the Dover Street HQ to stock-up on the way to your next adventure is easily scheduled. For the more relaxed, order online and you'll receive those new-pattern Positanos in time for the weekend. And the luxury-loving among us can always visit the CHUCS store at the aforementioned Hotel du Cap.

Positano, Italy

an ideal way to arrive at the beach in Positano
How to get there from CHUCS HQ Positano is just south of Naples - for the time-rich that means a fantastic drive through France, Switzerland and Italy for which the longer you take the better frankly. For the thrusting executive, fly to Naples (a city we'll come back to one day) and hire a car or get a taxi - bear in mind that the locals don't suffer slow drivers gladly so be prepared to embrace the dangers of the coast road if you want to take the wheel.
Suggested CHUCS item it has to be the Positano swimshort - choose from the regular, inspired by a pair of trunks at Goldeneye in Jamaica no less, or the longer style if that's the way you like to wear them. Either way they're an ideal and practical piece of clothing and if you go for one of our Summer Pullovers on top, they're good for lunch as well.
CHUCS rating you can hardly beat a day on the beach in Positano - it isn't where they filmed Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow sunbathing at the beginning of The Talented Mr Ripley, but it certainly feels like the right place.
How to get your CHUCS fix If you're coming to us, Naples is your international airport of choice and from there it's only a little under three hours for the flight to London. If you order online we can deliver within a few days - we advise you to spend them either soaking up the sun or taking time to visit Pompei (or indeed Herculaneum if you're after a more crowd-lite experience).
